A partner from the PPE industry approached us with a unique challenge. Their client, who uses a large number of work gloves, wanted to implement a process for reusing gloves by laundering them. This required a solution that would not only enable the efficient collection of used gloves from employees but also register which employee returned them. Additionally, the client required functionality to control the limits of glove pickups and returns.
Problem
Vending machines designed for dispensing gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) were not originally equipped to handle the process of returning such a large volume of products. It was also essential to register the return process.

Needs Identification and Proposed Solution
We proposed the C240 chute, a device that enables the secure collection of used gloves. We equipped it with a registration module to identify the employee returning the gloves.

Adapting to the Existing Infrastructure
The chute was integrated with the existing vending machine, creating a cohesive system. This allows employees to both collect and return gloves in one place.

Testing and Implementation of the Solution
Following the testing phase, the device was implemented at the client’s site, tailored to their specific requirements and working conditions.
